Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) The other required documents are: Passport, Bachelor’s Transcript, Motivation Letter, CV, 2 reference letters. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Language requirements	Turkish Minimum requirements for English: TÖMER B2 or Turkish Proficiency Exam at Istanbul Şehir University after the registration.

Other requirements	A motivation letter must be added to your application.

Overview

Today’s businesses share some characteristics. Ecosystems they are in requires them to be agile, profit oriented, responsive to customer demands, resilient to risks and uncertainties, concomitantly creative to accommodate their ecosystems’ dynamism, subject to varying governmental controls, and more. The organizations are flooded with data coming from within and outside ecosystems, which challenges their decision-making mechanisms.

Amount of data available to organizations grow exponentially each year. Rather than making “seat-of-the pants” kinds of decisions, businesses are in need of making more informed, and more data-driven decisions to increase their performances. Such decisions can only be made with the help of individua​ls who understand the business, have a solid knowledge of analytics, and possess good communication skills.

At İstanbul Şehir University, we want to equip our students with skills, help them acquire the know-how to monetize available data in hand. Our interdisciplinary program is designed to connect each individual course to a certain skill set that a good analyst must have. Our instructors with both professional and academic backgrounds are hand-picked to offer our students the state-of-the art approaches in analytics. We want to educate future leaders of analytics who understand the business, analyze data, and effectively communicate/implement their actionable results.
