The Civil Engineering Program at ŞEHİR focuses on city infrastructure and superstructure construction, transportation, traffic, and the environment in accordance with the philosophy of the “city”. This focus gives our graduates a significant advantage, and provides them with a winning edge in their working life. The students and academics of the Department of Civil Engineering are offered a synergy and close collaboration with other departments, particularly with Industrial Engineering and Computer Engineering. This encourages topics such as the city, transportation and environment to be discussed in a well-rounded fashion. The social science schools and departments at our university offer a different perspective for Civil Engineering students where they can handle the concept of “city” in every aspect.

Our goal is to train civil engineers that can both assist Turkish companies working on concentrated construction investments with rich underground resources, and work on reconstruction projects in cities of neighboring countries. Taught in English by experienced academics at advanced education standards, ŞEHİR’s Department of Civil Engineering is set to reach an international platform for students from all across Turkey and the world.
